We do 250 career expo’s (Schools) between January and May annually in Johannesburg, East Rand, Pretoria, PE, Cape Town, Pietermaritzburg and Durban. RockingFuture is an established career expo that has been interacting with SA schools for 15 years. No more aimless meandering through packed halls, hoping to find the right person to talk to. This creative expo incorporates learners, teachers, private tertiary institutions and companies to give learners the information they need to make crucial decisions about their future after they leave school. The expo is facilitated by professional MC’s and to make the atmosphere young and vibrant. There is music, prizes, quiz shows and much more. Although the atmosphere is young and vibrant, it is professional and structured. Within 2 hours the learners experience a whole range of activities that all add up to an unforgettable edutainment experience. During the expo learners are introduced to a maximum of 26 Private (Independent) Tertiary Institutions. Each learner that attends the expo also receives a complementary copy of the FutureGuide magazine that is published annually. 3RC takes care of all organisation work for the EXPO leaving your teachers to do what they do best...teach. On the 15th of March, the grade 12 learners were invited to attend the Career Expo hosted by Rocking Future Roadshow. This is an organisation which aims to inform students about the various opportunities they have after school to pursue their interests. Additionally, Rocking Future Roadshow partnered up with different institutions to allow the students to gain more information about their possibilities. To start off the expo, the objective of this roadshow, to educate, motivate and inspire scholars, was expressed through the display of a short clip. Soon after, the different institutions were introduced to the students. This was done by announcing the various institutions and then showing a short video about the particular university or college. Therefore, the students were able to establish what the different institutions offer and what their purposes are. Furthermore, after each clip, the representative of the university or college elaborated about their doings at the institution. Thereafter, all the scholars were given the opportunity to talk with the various representatives of the institution.

Hand over career guidance to 3RC

Huguenot High School's Grade 11's and 12's had the privilege to attend another excellent Rocking Future Career Expo earlier this year. The learners are being exposed to a variety of institutions at once which means we don't have to invite all those institutions individually. It's less time-consuming and for those two hours, the learners are completely focussed on their future. It gives them the opportunity to listen to what every institution has to offer and have all their questions answered. I would definitely recommend 3RC to all schools that have to deal with the struggle of finding time for career guidance in our busy schedules - this expo does it all in two hours.

Career expo at Carter High - 23rd January 2019

Rocking Future has been visiting us annually for a number of years. Our learners always look forward to receiving the team at Carter. We find the length of the show to be just right - 1 and a half hours. There are usually about 25 different higher education institutions that exhibit their courses - the variety is good. The set-up is done very efficiently, with minimal interruption to our school day. It is very informative and gives the learners a good idea of what is out there for them. The feedback has always been positive! Thank you, Rocking Future, and we highly recommend you to other schools!

3RC provided a very professional and engaging product and it tuned into the learner's mindset. The learners were well informed as well as entertained in the presentation of the different career options.
Most learners really enjoyed the show and it made them more aware and able to think more broadly in terms of a future career. The presentation benefited the Matrics by making them feel special - this was an event singled out for them, in this year, as they contemplate their path ahead at this end phase of their school life.

Worthwhile exposure

3RC is professional and their product "Rocking the future" meets the needs of their clients- Grade 12s. I do think the 2017 presentation was a little watered down. The girls usually love the vibe and action of the presenters which was not quite the same as previous years. Still, the organisations brought on board are good, although some of them are on their phones the whole time. This product saves time with a one-stop shop of HEI for Grade 12s.

This is a wonderful service provided to schools and our learners thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a one-stop shop to guide you to your future. Their approach is very young and applicable to the learners and was a fun session whereas other institutions that come just have a boring presentation and do not involve the learners or engage enough with them. The list of institutions on board is also outstanding with a wide variety.

Being able to offer that kind of access in such a short space of time is something we simply cannot do as a school. I always welcome 3RC, as it is run in an exciting way that appeals to the matrics. The vibe, music and energy the presenters bring to the school is amazing. Yet is not only about the atmosphere and the hype, they are able to learn and gain so much information relevant to their futures .The learners always give so much positive feedback and are exposed to far more places to study and get ahead with their education, than I as an individual, am able to expose them to. 3RC always brings along such a variety of learning institutions that it has to satisfy every individual learner, with all their range of needs, skills, talents and abilities. I feel the service they offer is incomparable and would not consider my part complete in helping the matrics make decisions about their futures without 3RC. Thank you for this amazingly informative service. no year is complete without 3RC. Wishing you all the best for 2017 and keep up the good work.

Professional administration pre and post EXPO. On the day the student advisers from the many Institutions were friendly and informative . Our learners appreciated the content and options of careers explored through the many Institutions present. Please ensure that the Institutions wait to be dismissed at the very end of the expo. The presenter and DJ was entertaining and our learners loved learning in this fun way. I do impress upon the music be toned down so that our other classes can continue with work . Thank you !
