For me, the Platinum textbooks are exactly what the doctor ordered. Being a Maths, NS, SS, Technology teacher for the past 14 years, I can never think of a better textbook than the platinum textbooks range. Whether it's grade 1-12, Platinum cuts across the board in terms of quality & relevance of content. The textbooks are always 100% relevant to the demands of the curriculum; an indication of professional and high-quality compilers.
The layout of the pages of the textbook is second to none, very engaging and easy to follow. Pictorial diagrams enable visual learners to get engaged in the lesson with little effort. Pearson textbooks are user-friendly and are easily accessible for lesson planning. I can even download them off the Internet. I use downloaded files and view offline teacher's guides and learner's printable worksheets which assist me in assessment of learners in different skills.
I so wish that every school would make use of downloadable worksheets, teacher's guides, and learner's books. You can simply view or read without the use of ink, cartridges and papers. The eBooks and e-learning courses for teachers should be implemented in schools to be in line with the National Development Plan of the government in Education. My wish is that all schools would please make use of technology in their classrooms and implement the use technology as a support to the school's curriculum.
I also recommend installing Interboard, as the use of tablets in classrooms very important - remember we are educating 21st Century learners. Microsoft Technology helps me enjoy my career more and more. What are you waiting for? I don't know about your school, but, in my school, we excel thanks to the implementation of technology.
