Synsport converted two of our existing netball courts to a multi-purpose sport facility that provides us with two netball courts, a mini hockey field and a full hockey penalty circle, covered with a synthetic surface. We were looking for cost effective solutions for our school and Dylan and Richard were very helpful and professional during the process to achieve our goals. We received regular communication, speedy responses and accurate and clear information during the project. Saul, the site manager, and his team did a great installation job, and were very meticulous in delivering a quality product. Our learners, teachers and parents are ecstatic about the new facility and we really want to thank Synsport in realising this opportunity. Twelve years ago Synsport was the chosen company to build the astro at Eunice. When the time arrived to resurface our astro there was no need to look any further than Synsport seeing that the initial experience was one of complete satisfaction. This was again the case after completing the resurfacing and building a mini astro next to the current astro. The product is fantastic and the work was done in a professional manner. I have no hesitation in recommending Synsport to anyone.

Firstly, Synsport explained in detail what the different surfaces they are laying can offer in providing variation in playing conditions. After testing the surfaces, it was fantastic to notice the variation in speed, bounce and spin from the various lanes. Secondly, The aesthetic look and quality of the centre is very impresive and gives a very professional look to the centre. The netting is very spacious and gives the player a sense of openness instead of a very cramped feel to the centre. The overall communication was good from synsport and when we did the final check, they had no hesitation to correct anything we as a client wanted to change. They also came up with practical suggestions when it came down to the safety measures for the coaches having to operate the bowling machine nets.
In principle, I highly recommend the Synsports product, service and after sales service.

EVERSDAL PRIMARY SCHOOL MULTI-SPORT FACILITY

Synsport converted one of the grass fields to a multi-sport synthetic field, installed a multi-sport synthetic surface in our quad as well as various other synthetic grass surfaces as playground areas. Their consultant, Dylan and project manager, Richard were very professional. Special mention to their site manager, JP who made sure that Synsport deliver upon their promises. Communication between the school and Synsport was exceptional. Their high regard to costumer relationship was proven in the many give-and-take alterations and upgrades to the various projects around the school. We wish to thank Synsport for this amazing facility and would recommend any school or business to build a relationship with them. We look forward to working with Synsport in the future.

York High School
Construction of Hockey Astro facilities, Synsport
York High School, George, has been associated with Synthetic Sports Surfaces since 2005.
It was in that year that York bought two, second-hand Fields/Carpets from the Randburg Astro-Facility in Johannesburg and transported them down to George. Four unused Tennis Courts were then converted into a Mini-Astro (72m x 36m) with proper sited circles (D's) to enable us to practice short corners, set-pieces, etc. Two years later in 2007 sufficient funds had been raised to start construction on our full-size field, which was then officially opened in May 2008 amidst much "Fanfare and Celebration" by all in the Community.
The old carpet was played on until the end of 2014 when we were then able to purchase a brand new State of the Art Turf, which will last us for many years.
All the above work has been undertaken by Synthetic Sport Surfaces, for whom no problem has ever been too big to undertake.
Their sheer Professionalism and willingness to assist has always been of the utmost highest standards, and it has been an absolute pleasure in dealing with them.

When our governing body approved our astro project, the first company that came to mind was Synsport. As a hockey coach who travels to a lot of astroturfs and who compared a lot of turfs with each other in recent years, one brand definitely stood out above the rest: SYNSPORT.
Synsport's previous projects speak for themselves. They have done a lot of clubs in the Western province area like Western Province Cricket Club, Hartleyvale (home of Province hockey) and these clubs would also only pick the best to get the job done.
They installed the astro at Stellenbosch High school quickly, effectively, effortlessly and without a glitch. It is not only their name which is connected to their brand that stood out for our school but also the aftermarket service they provide: maintenance, repairs and a good warranty.
Looking back on their completed project we can say that we are so happy that we picked Synsport from everyone who tendered. They provide a quality product, with professional people with adequate skills to handle installations.

I have dealt with Synsport and the company owners, the Merryweather family, in my capacity of project manager for hockey facilities at both Selborne College and Clarendon Girls HS.
Synsport were the main contractors at both these schools. Their work was of a high standard with great attention to detail and they were dedicated to providing the client with an end-product of outstanding quality with the result that both venues have a top-class playing surface and excellent floodlighting.
Synsport engaged with the client with honesty and integrity throughout the duration of both contracts but it didn't end there. After-sales-service has been outstanding. They make regular visits to both Selborne and Clarendon to ensure there are no problems. They are definitely not "take the money and run" operators. Their client rapport is excellent.
I have no hesitation in recommending Synsport to any school considering developing a synthetic hockey facility. Our experiences with them at Selborne and Clarendon leave me in no doubt that they rank with the very best in their field.

Synsport worked with us from the design phase, sharing various options and directing us to schools where they had laid the surface. Their service and customer relationship strategy are exceptional in a world where service providers are notoriously poor. We received a weekly voicemail from the Project Manager and Dylan was a call away and responded quickly. We pressurised them to complete the project in a ridiculously short time so that we could have access to the Astro for winter sport. They achieved the task. I would strongly recommend them and will certainly use them again.
